Come home to the healer within.
You became a therapist because you wanted to help people heal. But somewhere along the way, the work began to cost you — and slowly, quietly, you started to lose yourself in it.
You sit with deep pain every day. You hold space with skill and care. You are talented, committed, and genuinely devoted to your work. And yet — something is off.
You feel disconnected from your own body, emotions, or sense of purpose
You go through the motions in session but feel a creeping sense of emptiness
You're exhausted in a way that sleep doesn't touch
You know the theory of self-compassion but struggle to actually receive it for yourself
You chose this work because you wanted to make a difference — and you're not sure you still feel it
You've started to wonder: Is this burnout? Or did I lose the thread of who I am?
Steve Thorpe, LCPC · Founder, Living Well Coaching
90-minute weekly sessions combining teaching, somatic practice, IFS-informed exploration, and small-group sharing. Held in a confidential, therapist-only space.
Individual coaching sessions at Weeks 3 and 6 the tender midpoints of the journey for personalized depth work tailored to what's alive for you.
Gentle somatic practices, journaling prompts, and integration exercises to carry the work between sessions into your daily life and clinical presence.
A confidential, therapist-only community for sharing between sessions. A place to be witnessed — not as a clinician, but as a whole human being.
All group calls are recorded so you can revisit any teaching or practice whenever you need it — for the duration of the program and beyond.
You'll be held by a small group of fellow therapists who understand the particular kind of tired that comes from holding others. You are not alone in this.

Each week builds on the last. We start with where you actually are — not where you think you should be — and move toward integration at a pace your nervous system can trust.
An honest, compassionate inventory of how you're actually doing — in your body, your work, your sense of self. Releasing the performance of "fine." Meeting yourself where you are, not where you wish you were.
eestablishing relationship with your own somatic experience. Learning to listen inward — to sensation, to impulse, to the wisdom your body has been trying to offer you. Dropping below the story into felt sense.
Using an IFS-informed lens to meet the parts of you that have been working overtime to keep you safe — the achiever, the caretaker, the one who can't say no. With curiosity instead of combat.
Exploring what brought you to this work in the first place. The wound that became a gift — and the ways it may still be running the show. A tender and liberating inquiry into your original motivation to help.
Reconnecting with meaning, purpose, and something larger than the next session or the next bill. Exploring your relationship with the sacred — however that word lands for you — and what it offers your work.
Learning the practice of receiving — care, rest, nourishment, joy. For those of us trained to give, this is often the hardest and most transformative piece. We tend to what has been neglected.
Weaving together what has emerged across the weeks. Identifying what you're taking with you and what you're ready to leave behind. Anchoring new ways of being into sustainable practices.
Coming back to your clinical work — renewed, resourced, and more fully yourself. A celebration of what shifted, and a clear-eyed vision of the therapist and human being you want to become.

Group Facilitator · Somatic Coach · Former Burned-Out Therapist
Steve works at the intersection of IFS, EMDR, somatic therapy, and attachment-based approaches. He created this program because he knows the territory from the inside — and because he believes that the most important thing a therapist can do for their clients is to do their own work. He brings warmth, depth, a steady nervous system, and a genuine love for the complexity of being human.
The first cohort is being offered at a significantly reduced rate in exchange for your participation and feedback. This price will not be offered again.
