Because the most important question isn't where you've been—it's, "What's Next?"

Coaching Philosophy

What's Next? Coaching Philosophy

"Can we help you with your situation?"

At What's Next? Performance Consulting, we believe every emerging adult has the potential to build a meaningful, independent, and fulfilling life. Success is not determined by where you begin, but by your willingness to grow, learn, and take ownership of your future.

Our coaching philosophy is built on eight core pillars that prepare emerging adults to thrive in life's next chapter.

Adaptability

Life rarely follows a straight path. We help clients develop the flexibility, confidence, and adaptable mindset needed to navigate transitions, overcome setbacks, and embrace new opportunities with confidence.

Self-Leadership

Independence begins with taking ownership of your choices, behaviors, and future. We develop self-awareness, accountability, decision-making, and personal responsibility so clients become the leaders of their own lives.

Confidence

Confidence grows through action, preparation, and experience. We help clients recognize their strengths, challenge self-doubt, and develop the courage to pursue meaningful goals.

Capability

Success requires more than motivation—it requires practical skills. We equip clients with the tools needed to manage daily responsibilities, communicate effectively, solve problems, and succeed in school, work, and life.

Resourcefulness

Challenges are inevitable, but feeling stuck doesn't have to be. We teach clients how to think critically, seek support, identify resources, and create solutions that move them forward.

Staying The Course

Growth takes effort and persistence. We encourage clients to view setbacks as opportunities to learn, build unwavering determination through consistent action, and stay committed to long-term goals.

Mental Fitness | Mental Flexibility

Just as physical fitness requires consistent training, so does emotional and mental well-being. We help clients develop healthy habits, emotional awareness, stress-management skills, and a growth-oriented mindset that supports sustained performance.

Life Readiness

Our ultimate goal is to prepare emerging adults for independent living and lifelong success. We focus on executive functioning, financial literacy, career readiness, communication, healthy relationships, and the practical skills needed to navigate adulthood with confidence.

Our Commitment

Through personalized coaching, evidence-informed strategies, and meaningful accountability, we empower emerging adults to move forward with clarity, confidence, and purpose.

Every coaching conversation begins with curiosity, builds through action, and ends with a clear plan for the next step toward independence, fulfillment, and lifelong success.

Pamela brings a unique interdisciplinary approach that blends high-performance coaching, mental health expertise, leadership development, and practical life strategy. She holds a Master of Science in Athletic Administration and a Master of Science in Mental Health Counseling, allowing her to integrate evidence-based mental wellness practices with performance psychology, leadership principles, and human development.
With more than 25 years of experience coaching athletes, developing leaders, and directing athletic programs, Pamela has spent her career helping individuals perform under pressure, overcome setbacks, build confidence, and achieve meaningful goals. Her background in athletic administration has provided extensive experience in organizational leadership, strategic planning, team development, conflict resolution, and program management.

Beyond athletics, Pamela possesses significant expertise in business operations, financial management, investment strategies, and organizational leadership. This diverse experience enables her to coach young adults in the practical skills often overlooked in traditional education—including workplace professionalism, time management, decision-making, communication, leadership, and long-term planning.
Pamela also works as a Wellness Coordinator at a sleepaway camp, works closely with children, adolescents, counselors, and families to foster emotional wellness, resilience, healthy relationships, and social-emotional growth within a dynamic community setting.

Pamela's philosophy is that success extends beyond academic achievement or career placement. True success is built on emotional wellness, self-awareness, resilience, discipline, purpose, and the confidence to navigate life's challenges. Through individualized consulting, coaching, and practical skill development, she helps emerging adults move from uncertainty to independence and from potential to purposeful action.

Her passion is helping emerging adults answer one important question:

"What's Next?"

Frequently Asked Questions

Common questions

Is this therapy or coaching?

What's Next? Performance Consulting is a coaching and performance consulting practice, not psychotherapy.

Our work focuses on helping emerging adults build confidence, self-leadership, executive functioning, life skills, career readiness, and practical strategies for navigating adulthood.
As a Licensed Mental Health Professional, Pamela brings an understanding of emotional wellness and human development to every coaching relationship. However, coaching is future-focused and action-oriented. If a client would benefit from therapy or other mental health services, Pamela does offer those services as well.

Who is this program for?

If you are experiencing acute distress, depression, or unaddressed trauma, therapy is typically the best starting point. If you feel generally stable but stuck, unmotivated, or ready for meaningful growth, coaching is ideal. Many clients also engage in both concurrently.

How long does coaching last?

Our free 20-minute consultation is a low-pressure conversation where we discuss your current goals, answer any questions you have, and help determine whether coaching is the right fit for your needs.

Do parents participate?

We offer both virtual coaching sessions nationwide and in-person sessions depending on your location and coach availability.

Are sessions in person or virtual?

Coaching fees vary based on the coach's clinical experience and the package or frequency of sessions you choose. We will go over full pricing transparently during your consultation call.
